DJ's Hipp-E (born Eric Galaviz) and Halo (born Brian Varga) had a mutual desire to produce the kind of tasteful house music they were spinning in their sets, and joined forces to form the versatile sound system H-Foundation. Based in San Diego, H-Foundation is one of the few American production teams that has found success in the U.K. tech-house scene, with a residency at London's Fabric club and exposure on radio from high-profile DJs Pete Tong and Carl Cox.
