Qualifications: I am an experienced nanny looking for a part-time job with a good family. I have a bachelors in Elementary Education and was born and raised in the U.S. I am certified in First Aid and CPR.
Preferences: I prefer to work with very young children like infants and toddlers. I would also prefer to nanny no more than 2, especially if housework is involved. Pay is negotiable. I was paid $15 an hour at my last full-time nannying job. Though I am flexible with the salary, my husband and I are saving up for higher education, so keep in mind that the salary will be an important consideration. I am also willing to do some English tutoring. Of course that will effect the price somewhat. Let's negotiate! Also, I would prefer to work from morning to mid-day. But I'm flexible.
Dates: Starting time is somewhat flexible, but September 8, 2008 works best. End time is also flexible, but it will probably be somewhere around July 31, 2009.
About Me: Currently, my husband and I are teachers in Seoul public schools. We will have been teaching a year in Korea come August 2008. If a reference is desired from my school, I can arrange that.
In the U.S. I was employed with a reputable nanny company. I did housework and cared for a family with 2 girls--1 and 4 years old. We did many activities like coloring, dancing, singing, cooking, crafts, barbies, stories, games, outdoor activities, etc.... I found much fulfillment in that job.
I worked in Daycare for several years, mostly caring for infants and toddlers. But I've also had a lot of experience with older children--up to 8 years old. My whole life has involved children at some level--whether babysitting, working with church kids programs, teaching, or being a full-time nanny.
I am dependable, understanding, and love children! I am confident that I can provide your children with a loving, confortable and fun environment! Looking forward to it!
