I have recently purchased a home and I have renovated it to accommodate students in Ottawa. There are 3 rooms available. All are clean, well lit, furnished, and newly painted. Renters will have full access to main floor facilities - renovated and furnished living room with cable access, large furnished kitchen, and separate bathroom. Spacious backyard is also available to renters. Wireless internet is provided for free. Renters may also have a television in their room if they wish.
The home is centrally located. Walking distance... 10 min to major shopping outlets (St. Laurent Mall), 10 min to sports recreation facility with pool, 20 min to Rideau River parks. Bus service is very near the home... 10 min to downtown, including Ottawa University, many ESL academies (Geos, Centre Linguista) and Korean market (Green). 30 min to Carleton University and St. Patrick's Adult High School.
I prefer Korean students as I was an ESL teacher in Korea for six years and I speak Korean. I also tutor Korean students in my home (please visit www.eslOttawa.ca for more information - the map shown on the website is no longer accurate since I've moved).
Rent is dependant on the size of the room you choose ($480, $520, $560). Last month's rent is required in order to reserve the room. One parking space is also available at $50 per month.
