Barbie Signature Barbie x Yoon Ahn Doll

Mattel Creations has officially revealed the Barbie x Yoon Ahn Doll, a futuristic collector release created in collaboration with genre-defying designer Yoon Ahn. Inspired by anime, street style and Ahn’s distinctive design vision, the doll reimagines what the “Barbie of tomorrow” could look like, combining clean minimalist lines with a robotic, high-tech aesthetic. She comes with a matching robot cat companion, features a new sculpted body with 13 points of articulation, while the cat has six points of articulation, and uses the Kit face sculpt. The doll was designed by Suim Noh, with packaging by Diana Leto, and is released under the Black Label as a Mattel Creations exclusive.

Mattel Creations has shared a first sneak preview of a mysterious new Barbie doll!

The upcoming doll appears to have a distinctly futuristic design, with a sleek, almost sci-fi silhouette and a small robotic-looking companion standing beside her. The teaser keeps most of the details hidden in shadow, so her final outfit, accessories and overall concept are still unknown.

Mattel’s official description offers only a few clues:
“What does the Barbie doll of tomorrow look like? The answer is coming soon, courtesy of an all-new collaboration with an iconic designer. She’s known for anime-inspired choices, unexpected twists, and whimsical flourishes.”

This confirms that the doll is part of a new collaboration with an iconic designer, but Mattel has not yet revealed the designer’s name.
From the teaser alone, the Barbie has a futuristic, anime-influenced look with exaggerated boots, fitted leg pieces and a structured outfit.
The new Barbie will be priced at $100 and is scheduled to release through Mattel Creations on September 4, 2026 at 9:00 AM PT.
