And a little bit of brand history:
Originally, the Sindy doll was a licensed version of the Tammy doll of the American company Ideal Toys Corporations, which produced it as a competitive alternative to Barbie from Mattel in 1962-1965. Another famous license was the Susi doll, produced to this day by the Brazilian company Estrela.

Using not only the mold and body shape, the Sindy doll also borrowed the original Tammy slogan: The Doll You Love to Dress
The concept of the doll competing with Barbie made Sindy the top selling toy in the UK from 1968-1970.

In previous years, the rights to release the dolls belonged to different companies:
Pedigree Dolls & Toys
Florido E.S.
Marx Toys
Hasbro
Vivid Imaginations
New Moons
At the same time, the design and concept of the dolls changed slightly.

In 2020, the British company Kid Kreations introduced a line of 6 Cindy dolls inspired by images from the 1963 catalog. When creating the dolls, a new mold was used, based on the classic doll shape. The designer of the outfits was Vittoria Tombs, the dolls were designed by Rachel Godfroy.
